Rock concerts in 2010 and beyond
Rock concerts can be resumed to pure energy. When you attend a rock concert all you can think about is how to get to the front row and how to move all the time. It is impossible to stay still when your favorite band is on stage performing for you. During the year 2010, there have been numerous rock concerts all across the world. From the Mayhem festival in the United States to the Sonysphere Festival in Eastern Europe that headlined the Big Four in one night on the same stage. Do not forget to mention Ozzfest that will take place on the 28’Th of September.
One of the greatest festivals of rock music in the world this year was probably the Sonysphere Festival that was held in Romania. On the second day of the festival, the Big Four played one by one. In case you do not know, the Big Four consist of Slayer, Anthrax, Megadeth and Metallica. These names alone can make your skin crawl if you like rock music. The bands played one by one starting with Anthrax and culminating with Metallica. Before the Metallica concert started, all four bands got together on the stage and performed a cover of the song “Am I Evil?” by British heavy metal band Diamond Head. It was one of the greatest rock concerts that ever took place in the world since the Clash of the Titans tour in the 90’s that had all the bands mentioned above but instead of Metallica, Testament played with the rest. Another set of great of rock concerts will be held soon at the 2010 Ozzfest. This festival will take place in the United States after a two year break and it will start with bands like Ozzy Ozbourne, the legendary glam metal band Motley Crue, Halford, Devil Driver and Nonpoint. These are the bands that will play on the main stage, on the second stage bands like The Black Label Society, Exodus and Kingdom of Sorrow will give you a great time.
Whatever band you choose to see you should always remember that the concert is the main catalyst of energy that will overload your body so that you can feel good the whole time. And if you add your favorite band into the process then you can be assured that you will just go berserk and crawl your way to the front row where you just won’t stop head banging and enjoying the music you like: rock music.
